Great shot......the repetitive look contuning on for what looks the an eternity, into an unknown abyss, forever circling. Colours work beautifully with with this, and the lighting just adds well to the oerall effect.
Reminds me of some of the old lighthouse towers I've seen in a way.........

Ahh, gahd, are spiral staircases not beautiful...?!

Love the angle of this shot, and the entire tone of the picture... That dulled, muted gold sepia colour gives an interesting kind of age. It really works with that dented/nicked/pitted metal beam coming in from the right... I'm expecting something urban, but it's coming in antique colours.
